MOT Class 4&7

We are an accredited class 4 and class 7 MOT test station which means you can book in your car, van, camper van, mini bus or any commercial vehicle weighing between 3 and 3.5 tonnes.

MOT REPAIRS

If you love your car, you’re going to love the care we give it when you come in for a repair. No job is too big or too small. REMAPPING SPECIALISTS

Professional remapping for better fuel economy and more power. Contact us with your car registration number and we will let you know how much torque and BhP your vehicle will gain. TIMING BELTS

Why does the timing belt need to be replaced? 
Over time, it wears out. If the timing belt brakes, the engine will stop running and will need repairs or replacement.

CLUTCHES

We are fully equipped and all our highly skilled technicians can replace a clutch on any make and model of car or light commercial vehicle.


TYRES & PUNCTURE REPAIRS

We sell all makes and models of tyres, offer wheel balancing, as well as providing a puncture repair in accordance with British Standards (BSAU 159).

We also offer winter tyres for enhanced performance, better grip and greater control.
You can drop off your vehicle at CGE Garage, or just drop off a loose wheel to have it fixed.

DIAGNOSTICS

Worried about the smoke, or strange noise coming out our your car? Or maybe a light keeps coming on and you are not sure if it is something serious. 
We provide diagnostic service and let you know exactly what is going on. We use the newest equipment to produce the very best results, and strive to stay at the forefront of industry technologies. We will always provide a print out of the fault codes, or email them to you electronically, and explain what needs to be done to repair it. We would never change components based on fault codes only, we will always test and confirm components by using the latest diagnostic equipment.

AIRCON RECHARGE

We use state of the art equipment to recharge your air con. All technicians are fully trained in the use of air-conditioning techniques, gas refrigeration, and have  F gases certification. We also carry out leak detection and air con repairs. Once your A/C is recharged you will get the print out of how much gas and oil was injected and recovered so you know exactly what has been done to your air con. We guarantee your car will be cooler.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Wheel alignment is hugely important to help optimise the condition and performance of your vehicle. Incorrect wheel alignment can cause irregular tyre wear, drastically shortening the potential life of your tyres. The purpose of wheel alignment is to ensure all that all four wheels point in the exact same direction by way of measuring and adjusting the steering and suspension within the manufacturer's specifications. It helps your car perform at its best in areas such as road handling, ride comfort, tyre life and even fuel economy.

ADAS CALIBRATION- ADVANCE DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM

ADAS uses sensors in the vehicle such as radar and cameras to perceive the world around it, and then either provides information to the driver or takes automatic action based on what it perceives.

ADAS sensor calibration is required whenever a sensor's aiming is disturbed in any way. This can occur in a collision, even a minor bumper damage. ADAS will also need re-calibration after windscreen replacement, suspension repairs or wheel alignment.

AdBlue Top-Up


As a diesel car owner, it's highly likely your AdBlue tank will need topping up between services. AdBlue is a fuel additive designed to significantly reduce the nasty pollutants emitted by most diesel engines.

If an AdBlue warning light has appeared on your dashboard, don't wait to top up. Running out of AdBlue can significantly increase your car's emissions, and if left, can prevent your engine from starting altogether. Your car may also go into 'limp mode', reducing the speed at which you can drive.
